The infrastructure at the Academy of Technology, Hooghly is aimed at boosting the overall growth of students. Spread over 10.66 acres, the lush green campus of AOT, Hooghly has 3.01 lac square feet of built-up space for curricular activities. The Traditional Library of the Academy of Technology houses 6172 titles containing 50989 volumes and 271 national and international journals as well as proceedings from IEE magazines. The Library also has back volumes of periodicals and national dailies. The Digital Library at the AOT, Hooghly is equipped with IBM X3400M3 Intel Xeon 5506 (Quadra Core) Series, 10 P-IV Workstations, and internet connectivity with relevant hardware and software. The many digital resources of the Digital Library include online subscribed journals, 400 open access e-journals, E-books, Tutorial CD/DVD Service, Question Bank, Online Assessment Software, video lectures, DELNET, GATE study materials, all NPTEL web/video courses as well as Web OPAC (Online Library Catalogue). The Library at AOT, Hooghly also has Book Bank facilities catering to every student and is equipped with technologies like LIBSYS, Web OPAC as well as audio-visual and reprographic facilities.
The male and female students of the AOT, Hooghly are housed in separate hostels inside the Campus with accommodation for 250 male students and 130 female students. Hostels are equipped with all the necessary facilities as well as internet connectivity and mess facilities.
Additionally, the students can avail themselves of various dishes at the in-campus cafeteria of the AOT, Hooghly at subsidized rates.
AOT, Hooghly stresses equally on the physical health of the students and has numerous facilities for various sports like Football, Cricket, Tennis, Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton and Athletics. Facilities for indoor games like table tennis are also available. There are facilities for teaching Taekwondo to female students as well. The student community for sports and games, AGILE, maintains an indoor gymnasium called ADROIT.
The academics at the AOT, Hooghly is carried out in 61 spacious and airy classrooms with audio-video as well as digital teaching aids, and is accompanied by 44 course-specific laboratories which are equipped with cutting-edge technology and equipment and facilities. The Campus is Wi-Fi enabled with 100 Mbps speed and is supported by OFC.
AOT, Hooghly also provides medical facilities round the clock. The ambulance services are available at all times and if need be hospital services are availed.
The campus of the AOT, Hooghly also has seminar halls and an auditorium which has a seating capacity of 350 and is centrally air-conditioned with all the necessary facilities. The ATM inside the campus is available for students at all times.
