In 2011, Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research, Ghaziabad (ASIR Ghaziabad) was recognized as an 'Institution of National Importance', with initial operations beginning in June 2010. ASIR Ghaziabad has taken on the responsibility of developing the Science & Technology leaders of the future and is doing so by using novel curricula, pedagogy, and evaluation. ASIR Ghaziabad is also focusing on teaching and providing research opportunities in areas not typically found in universities in India. ASIR Ghaziabad has been established using a ‘hub and Spoke’ model, with the hub (AcSIR-HQ Ghaziabad) managing centralized administrative functions.
ASIR Ghaziabad offers a Ph.D. program in Engineering and science and an Integrated M.Tech-PHD program. To enroll in these courses, candidates can apply online by logging in to the online admission portal. Admissions to ASIR Ghaziabad, Ph.D. programs are conducted twice a year.

Admission Procedure

To be eligible to apply, prospective PhD, candidates must possess a Master's degree or its equivalent from an accredited institution. The candidate should be having a valid National level fellowship (JRF/ SRF). Applicants must have a 4-year undergraduate degree in engineering or science (such as a BE/BTech/BS) or a 5-year degree in science (such as an MSc), or an equivalent to be eligible for the Integrated M.Tech-PHD programme.
