Vehicles ply through a waterlogged Grand Road in Puri. The drainage and storm water disposal system in town collapsed following heavy rain on Tuesday evening. Rainwater clogged the drains and flooded Grand Road, on which the Trinity’s chariots will roll from the Puri temple to the Mausima shrine. The waterlogged road has raised eyebrows about the administration’s preparedness to ensure a smooth rath yatra, scheduled on June 25.
