Python CT scan

Bhubaneswar: An 8-foot python weighing 5kg, which has head injuries, underwent a CT scan at a private vet clinic here on Sunday. This was the first time in India that a CT scan had been conducted on a python.

Varsity status

Bhubaneswar: The state government on Sunday approved a proposal to grant university status to CV Raman College of Engineering. The bill to this effect will be tabled in winter session of the Assembly, sources said.
