NSCN rebel killed in group feud
Three persons were killed over the last 48 hours in separate incidents in Nagaland. An NSCN (Isak-Muivah) militant, Nikaho Kibami, was shot dead by suspected the NSCN (Khaplang) faction on Wednesday at the exit gate of the PWD office in Kohima. A lieutenant with the outfit, Nikaho had defected from the NSCN (K) along with several other Sema rebels last year, police sources said.n a separate incident, a village guard was killed in a mob attack at Nyinyiem village, 10 km from Tobu. The villagers retaliated and killed one of the attackers.Mizoram soil and water conservation minister P.P. Thawla commissioned a mini coffee roaster-cum-grinder machine, acquired recently by the Mizoram Coffee Planters Association (MICOPA) at the Research Education and Training Institute, Durtlang. The machine was installed by the Coffee Board.The first 15th infantry centre commandants’ conference began at 58 Gorkha Training Centre in Shillong. The two-day meeting is being attended by commandants of all the infantry regimental centres in the country. Union minister of Doner and tribal affairs P.R. Kyndiah asked Mizoram governor A.R.
