Bud win by 190 runs

Bud Cricket Club, Guwahati, today tamed home side Dibrugarh Cricket Coaching Centre by 190 runs in a match of the first JKM Trophy of Excellence All-Assam Prize-Money Cricket Tournament at Dibrugarh District Sports Association Stadium here today.

Dibrugarh, March 2: Bud Cricket Club, Guwahati, today tamed home side Dibrugarh Cricket Coaching Centre by 190 runs in a match of the first JKM Trophy of Excellence All-Assam Prize-Money Cricket Tournament at Dibrugarh District Sports Association Stadium here today.

Opting to bat, Bud Cricket Club piled up 265 for four wickets in 35 overs.

In reply, DCCC were bundled out for a paltry 75 runs in 20.2 overs.

Roshan Basfore topscored for Bud with an unbeaten knock of 117 off 80 balls, hitting six sixes and as many fours. Ranji player Tarjinder Singh scored 39, laced with three boundaries and a six, and Mujibur Ali chipped in with 38 hitting three boundaries.

For DCCC, Rajakuddin Ahmed, Gunjan Jyoti Deka and Biswajit Sarkar picked up one wicket apiece.

For Dibrugarh, Debanjan Tinsina scored 21 off 13 balls slamming two boundaries.

For Bud Cricket Club, Assam Ranji skipper Gokul Sharma hauled four wickets for 21 runs and Rahul Singh claimed three for 15 and Mujibur Ali took two for 16.

Basfore was adjudged the Man of the Match.

Tomorrow, Bud Cricket Club will play Marine Cricket Club, Margherita.
