Imphal, June 20: Blue Hawk Khurai soared past Western Cricket Association by six wickets in the Brajbihari Paul and Govind Paul Memorial Cricket Trophy at Luwangpokpa cricket ground today.

Western Cricket Association opted to bat first but were reduced to 68 runs losing all wickets in 29.2 overs. Jellish was the topscorer with 16 runs. The chief wicket-taker Robert Roy bagged four wickets bowling 4.2 overs.

In reply, Blue Hawk Khurai reached the target losing three wickets in 11.4 overs with Ajit Singh hitting 29 runs from 19 balls. Western bowler Kala Singh claimed two wickets for 20 runs from four overs.

Blue Hawk bowler Robert Roy was awarded the Man of the Match title.

Training: The All Manipur Football Association has announced that six referees have passed the Referees Fitness Test and Grade Examination at Public Ground, Churachandpur on June 11.

The referees who were successful are James G. Suantak, Ronald Sinnate in category three, H. Khupsian Mung, Lhunkholal Lhungdim in category four and Robert Ramdinthar and Thangdavid in category five.
