Bachata Cabaret World Latin Dance champions Andrea & Silvia from Italy had come for the first IDF. This year they will be back with their team Extravaganza.

Fifteen international artistes, a couple of international DJs, three nights of spectacular shows and crazy after-parties — that, in a nutshell, is what awaits you at the International Dance Fiesta Season 3, with t2, from December 18 to 20, at CC&FC.

Forty artistes from Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Goa, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Chennai and Calcutta will share the stage with international dancers for a series of productions. A party on the cruise liner M.V. Paramhamsa will mark the grand finale on December 20.

Workshops are a big draw at all IDFs. “You come for the festival, like one dance style and get 15 hours of dance training,” said Sovit Biswal, one of the organisers. Special workshops for kids will be held from December 17 to 19 at Dalhousie Institute. “It is more about bringing kids out of their world of laptops and tablets, and making them realise what they can do,” said Arindam Mukherjee, one of the organisers.

Charlie & Veronica from Spain began dancing together in 2012 and since then have been a major hit worldwide.
Neeraj Maskara is a popular salsa artiste of Indian origin in Europe. He has been dancing, performing and teaching salsa at over 40 events across the globe every year. Not only does he demonstrate cool moves, dynamic body movements and great choreography, he is also known to leave a lasting impression with his friendly and fun-loving personality.
Kwenda Lima from Portugal, who believes that his dance not just involves the body but also behaviour, emotions, the contact with people and the soul, is known as the king of kaizen and kizomba forms of dance.

Gaby & Estefy from Spain will give you a heady mix of  classical ballet, Spanish tradition and Dominican musicality.

The partnership between Italy’s Marco Ferrigno, who has worked with legends like Juan Matos and Eddie Torres, and Karel Flores, one of the world’s most sought-after salseros right now, has become quite a rage across the globe.
Another couple from the World Bachata champion team Extravaganza — Giovanni Verde and Stefania Santarosa from Italy — will burn the dance floor.

Dates: December 18 to 20. Venue: CC&FC. Tickets: www.internationaldancefiesta.com
