Defending champions West Indies have recalled pacer Ravi Rampaul to their squad after almost six years. Rampaul, a member of the 2012 World Cup winning squad, last donned Windies colours in a T20I in November 2015.

Former captain Faf du Plessis has not been included in South Africa’s squad. All-rounder Chris Morris too was kept out.

Leg-spinner Rashid Khan stepped down as captain of the Afghanistan team, saying his opinion was not sought before finalising the squad for the T20 World Cup.
