The sound and light show on at Narendra Puskharini (sacred tank) in Puri on Tuesday. The state tourism and culture department launched the much-awaited show, which is an initiative of the administration to attract pilgrims and visitors to the site. The tank, which was constructed in the 15th century, is famous for chandan yatra. The show is a replica of Hyderabad’s Hussain Sagar and Delhi’s Akshardham Temple. The lights were merged with sights and sounds during the laser presentation. The show also comprised projected beams that flashed on white screens and its reflection fell on the lake.
