Cuttack: Orissa High Court on Monday granted anticipatory bail to the daughter and son-in-law of former minister Raghunath Mohanty, who are facing dowry torture charges. ohanty’s daughter-in-law Barsa Swony Choudhary had filed an FIR with Balasore police on March 14 against the former minister, his wife Pritilata, son Raja Shree, daughter Rupashree and son-in-law Suvendu Madhual accusing them of dowry torture and criminal intimidation. The first three had earlier got bail. Bhubaneswar: The state government on Monday decided to do away with the top-100 list for the matric exams, the results of which are expected to be published by the last week of April. Secretary of school and mass education Usha Padhee said the decision was taken to reduce pressure on students.
