Notice to Mahima kin

Paradip police have issued notices for personal appearance to a close relative of jailed industrialist Mahimananda Mishra and a senior executive of Odisha Stevedore Limited to collect more evidences in the October 26 murder of Seaways shipping company general manager Mahendra Swain.

Paradip, Jan. 13: Paradip police have issued notices for personal appearance to a close relative of jailed industrialist Mahimananda Mishra and a senior executive of Odisha Stevedore Limited to collect more evidences in the October 26 murder of Seaways shipping company general manager Mahendra Swain.

Mishra's nephew Chinmoy Mishra has been directed to appear on or before January 15, while OSL deputy general manager (finance) Rabindar Kumar Dalei has been asked to reappear before the police. Both of them will be questioned regarding the financial dealings linked to the crime, the police said.

On Wednesday, Mishra's sons Charchit and Chandan were grilled in connection with the murder. Both are directors of the stevedore firm.
