Bhubaneswar: Japan will take part in the Make in Odisha Conclave in the Odisha capital in November.
A business delegation from Japan gave its consent during their meeting with state's chief secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi at the secretariat here on Friday.
Sources said the Japanese delegation readily accepted the invitation extended by the state government during the meeting. A senior official said the delegation was impressed with the investor-friendly climate of the state after they were apprised of the industrial policy and its investment potential.
During the meeting, chief secretary Padhi said Odisha was now connected by two direct international flights - one to Kuala Lumpur and the other to Bangkok. Besides, the container cargo facility would be made available at Paradip port shortly, he said.
