Bhubaneswar: Chief minister Naveen Patnaik unveiled the www.bhubaneswar.me website on Thursday. Users will be able to get details on things to do and places to visit in the city on it.
Developed by the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA), the portal will showcase the city's rich heritage, art, culture, architecture, cuisines, traditions, natural treasures, urban development and tourist information to users.
The website has five major segments -Explore, Experience, Stay, Taste and This is Bhubaneswar.
Under the website's Explore segment, users will find detail descriptions with photographs on heritage structures, temples, parks and recreation facilities.
This is Bhubaneswar will give users an insight into the city's history.
Launching the website from the state secretariat on Thursday, Naveen said: "I do hope that the Bhubaneswar.me website of the Bhubaneswar Development Authority would immensely help the tourists who are planning to visit our city. In days to come, it should become a single point information required by the tourists for their visit and travel to the city."
The chief minister also launched the Bhubaneswar Smart City Limited (BSCL) that features important aspects of smart city's special purpose vehicle with its ongoing and upcoming projects and announcements.
A new logo for the Bhubaneswar Smart City, along with a promotional video named Visit Bhubanewar was also launched on Thursday.
The new website of Bhubaneswar Smart City will provide you information on child-friendly city features, details and updates on each projects, events and details about various smart city contests, smart city mission and challenges, smart city proposal, vision and details of area based development and pan city proposals.
