Dibrugarh: The Assam Badminton Association has announced a 10-member state team for the mini and sub-junior nationals to be held in Calicut next month. U-13 boys: Uddipta Baruah, Hirokjyoti Neog (Dibrugarh) and Nirob Jyoti Bora (Guwahati). Girls: Sumana Phukon and Meghana Bharadwaj (Jorhat) U-16 boys: Suranjan Bhobora (Guwahati), Parikshit Bhagawati (Dibrugarh). Guwahati: The Rotaract Club of Guwahati will organise a motor-cross event at the newly-developed track in the upper Hengrabari hills here on September 28. The rally will be held in four categories — novice, intermediate, experts and special (open for all categories on all kinds of vehicles). Imphal: Manipur bikers bagged six medals, including three gold and two silver, at the national mountain bike championship at Anantapur Haheb in Punjab during September 13 to 17. Y. Sunita won two gold and one silver, while H. Lolindro, L. Sonia and Th. Helen Devi bagged one gold, one silver and one bronze respectively.
