Why Khureshi Darbar?
Khureshi Darbar is best known for serving mughlai cuisine in its authentic avatar.
One of the newest eateries in the city of “food and fun,” Khureshi Darbar is the most “in” place for connoisseurs to enjoy the best of Indian traditional food.
Cuisine
The two-month-old eatery specialises in traditional biryani, mughlai and Chinese cuisine.
Service
The eatery remains open throughout the week from noon to 11 pm.
It can seat 20 people at a time. Five chefs and stewards are engaged to serve the customers.
First Impression
Written in neat red bold letters at the entrance, the very name of the restaurant is enough to attract one, along with the flowerpots. After ordering food at the counter, the diners head to the dining hall by climbing a beautiful staircase. The walls of the dining hall are brightly painted and the interiors exude a friendly air.
On the menu
To explore the best on the menu card, one should visit the restaurant during lunch and dinner.
The biryani section includes chicken, mutton, vegetable, cocktail Afghanistani and Hyderabadi kaccha gost ki biryani.
The chicken and mutton delicacies include chicken chaap, korma, rezala, curry, bharta, sag dilruba, dopyaza, kasa, rogan as well as mutton chaap, korma, rezala, josh, sag, curry, kasa and tikia, to name a few.
The vegetarian section offers paneer butter masala, muttar paneer, mixed vegetables, paneer shahi korma and palak paneer.
In the Chinese section, one can have chilly chicken, garlic chicken, Szechwan chicken, lakmi kai chicken, vegetable fried rice, chicken fried rice, Szechwan garlic hot fried rice and mixed hot fried rice.
Those who have a penchant for noodles can try vegetable chow, chicken chow, mixed chow and egg chow.
The eatery also serves tasty sandwiches and beverages like tea and coffee.

Don’t forget to try the wide array of starters and delicacies like mutton ball, mutton shami kabab, mutton tikia and chicken liver fry.

“We’re planning to increase the seating capacity and changes in the decor. Our customers will be greeted with great and innovative cuisine on New Year’s eve,” the manager of the eatery said.

“The eatery lives up to its name and serves the best of ethnic Indian cuisine, which otherwise is hard to find in the city,” said Manish Gogoi, while enjoying a plate of cocktail biryani and Kasmiri pulao.
