Guwahati, June 8: Favourite Club defeated ASEB Sports Club by six wickets today in the GSA inter-club B-division cricket tournament at Latasil playground.

ASEB, after deciding to bat, were bundled out for 139 runs in 22.5 overs. Satyendrajit Sarma struck a run-a-ball 35. For Favourite Club, leg-spinner Myendung Singpho bagged three wickets while Aditya Baruah scalped two. Favourite reached their target in 17 overs, losing four wickets. Aditya Baruah struck a quickfire 51.

Tomorrow, Panchatirtha Club, Hajo, will take on Dipjyoti Club.
