Guwahati, Oct. 12: The Assam Football Association (AFA) has invited 41 probables for the state under-19 girls’ team that will participate in the nationals to be held in Haryana from November 3.
Charaideo and Dibrugarh, the winners and runner-ups at the under-19 inter-district meet at Charaideo, have the most players in the list with nine and eight participants. Charaideo had won the under-17 girls’ crown in Golaghat.
Silchar will have eight participants, Karbi Anglong seven and Rangia has five probables.
AFA secretary Ankur Dutta directed the probables to report for the coaching-cum-selection camp at Diphu from Thursday with the necessary documents and photographs in support of their age.
Only players, born on or after January 1, 1990, and not later than December 31, 1992, are eligible to participate.
