Netflix India is set to adapt YouTuber Prajakta Koli’s debut novel Too Good to be True into a web series, as per media reports.
According to a report by Variety India, Koli will star in and produce the show, which is expected to go on floors in the second half of this year.
Besides being a content creator and social media influencer, Koli has starred in the popular romantic Netflix series Mismatched and films like Jug Jugg Jeeyo, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari and Single Papa among others.
Prajakta’s romance novel Too Good to be True was published by HarperCollins India in 2024. The book follows Avani, a pragmatic law student working in a bookstore, and Aman, a charming, wealthy CEO who seems too perfect to be real. The novel centres on their blossoming romance as Avani overcomes past insecurities to trust a love that feels like a fairytale.
Prajakta was last seen in the third instalment of the Netflix series Mismatched alongside Rohit Saraf.
Koli is known for YouTube channel Mostly Sane. She made her Bollywood debut with Varun Dhawan-starrer Jugjugg Jeeyo.
