Nicole Kidman says she works hard to stay fit and energetic so that she can take care of her kids. The actress, who has grown-up children Isabella and Connor with former spouse Tom Cruise and Sunday, nine, and Faith, seven, with husband Keith Urban, says her younger kids encourage her to make an effort with her appearance, reported Contactmusic. “You have an almost 10-year-old and a seven-year-old — I mean, that’s hard truth right there. They’ll say, ‘You’re 50?’ But it’s interesting because particularly my little one will say, ‘Please don’t wear your work-out stuff to school this morning. Please blowdry your hair. Please wear some make-up… I want to stay healthy and vibrant, I want to be able to take care of them...”

Actor Jeff Goldblum is up for The Fly sequel if the makers let him play the grandson of his iconic character, Seth Brundle. In the 1986 movie, Goldblum’s character became a mutant and the actor said there is no other way for him to join the sequel if it even happens. “I don’t think my character would be involved because, of course, I got tragically mutated with the fly and then the machine, oh boy,” Goldblum told web portal Bloody Disgusting. “But maybe I show up as a grandchild of the original Seth Brundle, or Seth Brundle had a brother. Had a brother that emerges in some ways! Who knows…” The Fly follows an eccentric scientist (Goldblum) who transforms into a human/fly hybrid after one of his experiments goes wrong.

Robert Pattinson says his role of Edward Cullen in the Twilight series was a huge “turning point” in his life. The British actor, who became an overnight sensation alongside Kristen Stewart after the vampire love story hit theatres, says the movie also made him consider acting as a full-time profession. “It was really, really fun. It was a massive turning point in my life. I had an entirely different life after. I wasn’t entirely sure I was going to be an actor until after that movie so I’ll always appreciate it,” Pattinson told E! News on the sidelines of a promotional for his latest film Damsel
