Benefits, but no job

Buxar district magistrate Arvind Kumar Verma on Tuesday said monetary and other benefits to the family of Tauqeer Akram, the senior deputy collector who was found hanging in his residence on Sunday, would be paid as per rule.

Patna: Buxar district magistrate Arvind Kumar Verma on Tuesday said monetary and other benefits to the family of Tauqeer Akram, the senior deputy collector who was found hanging in his residence on Sunday, would be paid as per rule.

However, no member of the family would get a government job on compassionate grounds if it was established that he had committed suicide, Verma added.
