Dhanteras and Diwali will be a glittering affair this year for residents in and around Salkia. They are already taking a peek at the newly opened showroom of Mehandi Diamonds at Abani Dutta Road. The showroom was inaugurated by actress Priti Soni on October 18.

The 800 square feet store has a wide collection of diamond jewellery starting from tiny nose-pins to bridal sets.

Mehandi Diamonds, a new brand of diamond jewellery aims at making diamond jewellery affordable for people with all types of budgets. The brand has a special pocket-friendly range called Little Wonders that has something for everyone.

“In the Little Wonders range, one can find diamond nose-pins, lockets, small earrings, rings and pendants starting from a minimum price of Rs 2,500 and going up to Rs 25,000. This range has been introduced specially for those who think that diamonds mean expensive jewellery that they will never be able to purchase,” said Naresh Verma, one of the directors of Mehandi Diamonds.

There is, however, a higher range of designer bridal jewellery that includes heavy necklaces, earrings, bangles, rings and other pieces.

Orders have started pouring in as people are planning their festive shopping. “We have our in-house jewellery designers who suggest designs to customers and we also take orders for designs that customers bring to us,” said Naresh.

For the festive season Mehandi Diamonds has decided to give an inaugural offer till November 3. “We are selling all jewellery at wholesale rates till Diwali after which we will be increasing prices,” said Naresh.
