Bhubaneswar. Nov. 19: Mahila police today detained two youths for kidnapping two Class IX girls of a public school at Chandrasekharpur on Wednesday.

Police said the family members of the girls today lodged kidnap cases against the youths who are around 18 years old. The youths were identified as Sreekant Sahoo and Rajdeep Behera

Chandrasekharpur police last night spotted two girls aged around 14 and Behera at Bhawanipatna and brought them to Bhubaneswar this morning. Earlier, Chandrsekharpur police had said that the girls had eloped to Puri with their boyfriends on Wednesday. The police tracked their mobile phones and traced them to Puri.

Police today said a police team went to Puri to raid the lodge where they had stayed. But Behera drove to Bhawanipatna along with the girls before the police reached the lodge.

Police then traced the mobile phones of the girls and Behera and spotted them at Bhawanipatna on Friday night.
