Bhubaneswar, June 20: Well-known Oriya children’s magazine Jhumuka is all set to observe its silver jubilee celebrations on June 24. Almost 25 prominent litterateurs who have dedicated their life towards children’s literature would be awarded with the Jhumuka Saraswat Samman during the celebrations.

“We carried on the publication of our children’s magazine despite all odds for 25 years. Now, we wish to support and encourage children’s literature in Oriya,” said Manas Ranjan Samal, editor of the magazine. “Thus we have chosen 25 eminent litterateurs who have made a difference in this field through their works,” he said.
