Berhampur: Twenty-two women suffered injuries after a bus in which they were travelling turned turtle near Gokarnapur bridge on the Berhampur-Digapahandi highway early on Monday.

The condition of 10 women is said to be serious and they are undergoing treatment at MKCG Medical College and Hospital here.

The other 12 women were taken to Digapahandi Community Health Centre and were discharged after first aid, hospital sources said.

The women were on their way to Maa Bankeswari Pitha on Kerandimala hills for a picnic in a mini bus from Salia Sahi in Bhubaneswar.
