SENIOR DIVISION FOOTBALL

Dibrugarh, Aug. 3: The match between Milan Jyoti Sangha and Tengakhat Sonowal Kachari Students' Union Football Club was drawn in the league encounter of the first Monuj Patra and Boga Das Senior Division football tournament organised by Dibrugarh District Sports Association at DDSA stadium here today.

Regulation time ended in a 1-1 draw. Milan Jyoti opened the floodgates through midfielder Jiten Karmakar in the 40th minute.

In the first half, Milan Jyoti Sangha dominated the game and did not give any chance to the opponents to score against them. At lemon break, Milan Jyoti led 1-0.

In the second half, Tengakhat equalised through Karan Batra in the 55th minute.

Milan Jyoti Sangha bagged 10 points and booked their berth for the final round.
