Giving Calcutta a miss, Raj Basu’s Bengali thriller Piyalir Password is premiering at TV Asia Studios in New Jersey on April 11. The film stars Rituparna Sengupta and Roopa Ganguly as sisters and the two leading ladies will be present to showcase their work to the NRB community.
Also featuring Sabyasachi Chakraborty and Koushik Sen, Piyalir Password is the first Bengali film to be shot entirely on location in the US. The US-based Raj shot his debut film in Maryland, Virginia and Washington DC.
Set in the biotechnology hub of Maryland, Piyalir Password revolves around the murder of Roopa and Rituparna’s attempt to track down her sister’s killers with the help of Sabyasachi and Koushik. Bickram Ghosh is the music composer.
