The bigger star

One is a 50-year-old superstar who has starred in hundreds of films. The other is just a one-year-old toddler. 

Yet, the latter’s popularity is no less than the veteran’s. Or so claims mommy Kareena Kapoor about her son, Taimur, and Akshay Kumar… obviously in jest! 

At a recent event, Kareena said in answer to a question: “Akshay, Taimur is a threat to you I’m telling you.”

“If you release a movie with Taimur, I think his collections are going to be more than Akshay,” she joked. “That’s an open challenge!”

Kareena and Akshay, who have worked together in films such as Ajnabee, Aitraaz and Gabbar, are known to be good friends.

Kareena is now shooting for Veere Di Wedding, co-starring Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania. The film is slated to release in June.

On the other hand, Akshay’s Gold, Kesari and 2.0 are lined up for release.
