Filmmaker Srijit Mukherji and singer-composer Samantak Sinha’s musical soiree on World Music Day took their fans by surprise on social media.

Samantak, who is riding high after the success of Srijit’s last Bengali film X=Prem, shared a glimpse of the singer-director ‘jugalbandi’ on Facebook on Tuesday, and their fans cannot get enough of it.

Several artists across the world took to social media on Tuesday sharing the importance of music or their favourite music moments with the netizens. Samantak and Srijit also joined the bandwagon.

The video, a cover on the evergreen Asha Bhosle melody Aro dure cholo jai, also had singer Sahana Bajpaie re-share the video on Facebook. The short video is a double treat for music lovers with the multi-talented Srijit on harmonica and Samantak on acoustic guitar.
