My biggest dream: Being an actor! And I am living it now. I wasn’t one of the brightest students in school and the glamorous lifestyles of superstars attracted me a lot. Although it isn’t as glamorous on the inside, I still believe that I am having the best time of my life.

My favourite from the four stars in Rock On!!: I think that all the four guys looked amazing in the movie, especially during their younger days. Purab looked cute with his beard, Arjun made the girls go mad with his flowing hair and powerful performance, and Luke and Farhan looked just great and played their parts to the cue. I really can’t make up my mind about who is the best.

Rock music is: A mystery to me. The only rock band I know about is Magik (the band from Rock On!!). But I love the music from Rock On!! — I can never get bored with it.

My kind of music: Bollywood Hindi music. I really enjoy the music that the composers make these days.

If I was offered an item number: I would consider doing it if the song is tastefully done. The so-called item numbers have changed over time and even stars like Kareena Kapoor have done them. It all depends on how I will be portrayed in the song sequence.

I am afraid of: Surprisingly, I am scared of heights when travelling in a car. When travelling on the (Western) Ghats, I get terrified. I also am scared of water and don’t swim even though I would love to learn to swim one day.

Between television and Bollywood, I would choose: I like the way work is conducted in films. At this stage I have not established myself as an actor in Bollywood but I think that the two require a different outlook.

My zodiac sign: Virgo and I think there are lots of Virgo qualities that I personify. I was born on September 12.

Doing Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa meant: Seeing a sea change in myself. Believe it or not, before Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa I was always scared of dancing in the presence of a camera! The show changed everything. I matured as a performer and whatever stage fear I still had was all gone!

If I throw a coin in the wishing well, I would wish that: Everything in my life goes as it is happening right now or changes for the better.

My sex appeal: My eyes and my smile (giggles).

My first crush: Oh, there were lots! In school there were so many actors I would feel drawn towards! I will not name them because I am from the same industry now.

The actor who I feel looks best without his shirt on: I think Hrithik, John and, of late, Shah Rukh Khan!

The actress who looks best in a bikini: Kareena looks best and she looked real good in Tashan. I feel Shilpa Shetty has the best body though!

My most cherished possessions: The trophies, which I won during my school years, and the ones that I was awarded for Kasamh Se. I think I have put in my best to receive these awards, no matter what field they are from.
