Gangubai Kathiawadi actor Shantanu Maheshwari, Tanya Maniktala, Revathy and Saswata Chatterjee are set to star in Netflix’s upcoming fantasy vampire thriller Tooth Pari: When Love Bites, the streaming platform announced on Saturday.
“Fangs for your attention!🩸🧛This STUNNING cast is bringing you a nerve wrecking love story 😅 (quite literally) #ToothPari comes to Netflix on 20th April,” Netflix wrote alongside a set of photos on Instagram.
Shantanu plays dentist Dr Roy on the show, while Tanya portrays the role of Rumi, a vampire who has lost one of her fangs. She comes to Dr Roy for help. Revathy plays Luna Luka, a vampire slayer.
The rest of the cast includes Sikander Kher as sub-inspector Kartik and Tillotama Shome as Meera and Saswata as David. While Meera’s character is described as “poetry in motion”, the D in David stands for “Darinda who is full of stories”.
Tooth Pari: When Love Bites has been created and directed by Pratim Dasgupta and produced by Endemol Shine India. The show will stream on Netflix from April 20.
