Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence says she is not very strict when it comes to dieting and eats whatever she wants. In an interview with Vogue magazine, the 28-year-old actress said she was not diet conscious and gave in to her cravings quite often. “I don’t like when people say, ‘I only do this or eat this’. Because I eat. I’m not very strict with my diet: If I want a piece of pizza, I eat a piece of pizza. But I do work out more than normal because I have a certain way that I want to look, and a way that I want to fit into my clothes,” she said. “I get photographed when I’m not asking for it, so there’s added pressure to look and feel your best. For me, it’s easier to put that extra effort into the gym instead of putting the extra effort into: ‘Oh no, I can’t eat that,’,” she added.
Actor Alec Baldwin has dropped out of the Joker film starring Joaquin Phoenix in the lead. The 60-year-old actor joined the film’s cast two days ago and was supposed to play the role of Bruce Wayne/ Batman’s father, Thomas Wayne, in the origin story of one of DC’s most iconic antagonists. In an interview with USA TODAY, Baldwin said the he was no longer attached to the project and cited “scheduling” issues as the reason for his departure. “I’m no longer doing that movie. I’m sure there are 25 guys who can play that part,” he said. The actor later tweeted: “Let me state, for the record, that I have NOT been hired to play a role in Todd Phillips’ JOKER as some Donald Trump manque. That is not happening.” PTI
Action star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will play Kamehameha I, or Kamehameha the Great, the founder and first ruler of the Kingdom of Hawaii. The King will be directed by Robert Zemeckis, with a script by Randall Wallace, best known for writing Braveheart. Filming is expected to take place in 2020. “Humbled & grateful to begin this once in a lifetime journey,” Johnson wrote on his Instagram. “KING KAMEHAMEHA — the legendary King was the first to unite the warring Hawaiian islands — fulfilling the prophecy that surrounded his fabled life since birth and creating the powerful & spiritual 50th state as we know it today.”
Actor George Clooney earns approximately £21,000 an hour — thanks to his tequila company. Clooney topped the Business Insider reported that the sale of Casamigos Tequila, the company he launched with two friends in 2013 was responsible for the bump in his earnings. In June last year, Clooney and his co-founders sold the Tequila brand to Diageo for $700 million, with the actor’s cut pegged at $233 million.
Fitness instructor Leyon Azubuike, the personal trainer to Hollywood star Jennifer Aniston, has called her a “natural athlete” amid rumours that the two are dating. Speaking to People, the 29-year-old complimented the recently-single actress on her fitness abilities and her determination and dedication to give it her all. “She’s very diligent,” Azubuike, who also works with Jennifer Love Hewitt and Eric Braeden, said. “She is ready to work out hard, every single time she hits the gym. Whether it be a 45-minute session, whether it be a 2-hour session, she’s always ready to go. (She’s) incredibly consistent and hardworking, and that makes my job a little bit easier. She’s a very good, natural athlete.”
