Actress Courteney Cox, the popular Monica Geller from American sitcom F.R.I.E.N.D.S., has been busy whisking, baking, grilling and sauteing in the kitchen for her fans lately. For those who don’t know, Monica’s character was a chef who loved to cook for her friends and serve those grand thanksgiving dinners we drooled over from the other side of the screen.

As we kick off a new week, and Courteney brings out the Monica in her, let’s take a look at some of the scrumptious recipes the actress has in store for us.

This Courteney-approved chicken and veggie recipe is quick and easy to make and tastes like one straight-out from your favourite gourmet cafe.

A traditional Italian dish, Aglio e Olio hails from Naples and is made of pasta. This preparation attributes its popularity to its simplicity. If you are looking for something exotic to dig in after a long Monday at work, pull out the apron and check out chef Monica’s tutorial.

Another Italian wonder Pasta Alla Checca is a summery recipe with fresh, ripe tomatoes as the main ingredient. Cheesy and tangy, this recipe is also a favourite of Miss Geller.

Bread in brekkie kinda has its own niche fan base. Especially if you are on a baking spree, nothing beats the joy of slicing up a freshly made batch. “The BEST gluten-free/ sugar free (monk fruit) banana bread”, courtesy Courteney, is one recipe that you should save, make and repeat.

Who said toned midriff and gorging on chips shall always be in combat? Try out these keto chips as you whip up some guacamole too, and there’s a munchy snack that does not set the calorie meter blaring!

A simple yet exotic chicken curry that can be improvised according to spice availability. Just what we need? “I know right”! Go Monica!

A celebratory drink from a yearly celebration, this chilled mocktail is perfect to unwind after logging off. “Cinco De Mayo Ginger Lime Mocktail” is a simple mix, shake and pour situation. If you are wondering about agave, you can replace it with any sweetener of your choice.

Twisting it into a cocktail can also be on the cards. Just saying!
