Karan picks: Salman (Khan) making a national declaration that he was a virgin. Funny… very funny! 
When: Episode 1, Season 4
Reference to the context: Salman — in his maiden appearance on the show — brought the house down with his straight-faced quips and LOL one-liners. The best bit was when KJo — and we! — choked on the coffee when the now 50-year-old declared — with a straight face — that he was still a virgin. 
Salman: I am going to save myself for the woman I get married to. (Straight face)
Karan: Are you saying you are a virgin?
Salman: Yes! (Poker face) I will get married. Aur suhaag raat tab hogi.

Karan picks: Sonam (Kapoor) and Deepika (Padukone)… I don’t need to say more. You know the kind of storm they caused in my coffee cup. 
When: Episode 3, Season 3
Reference to the context: The two leggy actresses were a riot. Their common target: Ranbir Kapoor. 
Sonam: Ranbir is a great friend. But I don’t know if he’s a great boyfriend. I’ve known Ranbir all my life but as a boyfriend, I don’t know… she (Deepika) did a great job at hanging on to him for so long.
Deepika: He’s a wonderful friend to have. I think he needs to work on his boyfriend skills a bit. 
Also, DP’s advice for RK: “Endorse a condom brand.” Ouch!

Karan picks: Abhishek Bachchan going down on his knees and saying he will do anything for me… and I mean anything! I wish there were many others like him who would make these offers on display, but unfortunately there are not!
When: Episode 1, Season 3
Reference to the context: Opening Season 3 with wife Aishwarya, 
Abhishek went down on his knees in front of Karan and said he was willing to do “anything… just anything” to win the Koffee hamper. He followed it up in Season 4 when, accompanied by Farah Khan, AB Jr was asked: At gunpoint, if you were forced to have a gay encounter who would it be, besides John Abraham? The AB answer: You, Karan!

 

Karan picks: Rakhi Sawant saying: ‘Jo Bhagwan nahin deta hai woh doctor de deta hai’. There was nothing more hysterical than her. She looked so bronzed that… well, I don’t want to say anything more because it will get me into trouble. So Rakhi Sawant unplugged… she’s always unplugged!
When: Episode 12, Season 2
Reference to the context: When asked about rumours that she’s actually “Rakesh Sawant”, the motormouth reality TV star neither confirmed nor denied the rumours, but did say, rather directly, that she had undergone plastic surgery.  

Karan picks: The Lara (Dutta) and Bipasha (Basu) show… when they took off on Ameesha Patel. It may not be relevant today, but it was funny then… five seasons ago.
When: Episode 9, Season 1
Reference to the context: Eleven years ago, Ameesha Patel, then riding high, had made some snide remarks against Bipasha and Lara. Reason enough for the sex symbols to let it rip on KJo’s couch. 
Bipasha: Ameesha can’t carry off a Jism! She doesn’t have the body for that. 
Lara: Let’s not shoot too many queries about Ameesha. The poor girl is too knotted in her troubles to bother her any more!
