It was a Sunday with a difference for the Porsche owners in Calcutta who got together for a “drive and donate” event organised by Porsche Centre Kolkata on the occasion of its second anniversary. Porsche Centre director Gaurav Bajaj said:

“The main concept behind the event is that our customers are going to drive the cars and we are going to donate on behalf of them. This event is in association with Kolkata Gives (Foundation) and the customers would be donating money for the education of poor children. We also have a few children who are at the showroom whom we’ll take in our cars for the drive to give them a good feeling on a Sunday.”

There were goodie bags going around to make the Sunday a happy one

The Calcutta-based Kolkata Gives Foundation works to bring together donors and NGOs that need the funds. The funds raised by the event would benefit approximately 150 children. There would be books and clothes as well, along with the cash contribution.
