A scooter lies stuck under a truck on the four-lane National Highway 30 in Patna City on Monday. Shivangi Kumari, a resident of Patna City Chowk, was crushed under the heavy vehicle and dragged when she was on way to work around 10am. Shivangi, 24, was pursuing higher education and working at a mobile phone store in Dakbungalow to support her family - her father works in a private company. Her grieving family said Shivangi's mother had requested her to take the Town route to work instead of the four-lane where vehicles are driven recklessly. But, in a hurry, she took the four-lane where the truck was travelling on the wrong flank of the road. The vehicle crushed her at Ranipur Paijaba, roughly 3km from her home, and dragged her under as the driver tried to flee the spot.
