Patna, March 18: The Assembly wore a colourful look today, not because of the legislators’ and ministers’ antics but because of their Holi revelry.

A chance to play Holi could not be missed by the legislators and ministers today, as the Assembly will resume on March 21.

BJP MLA from Sasaram, Jawahar Prasad was the first one to start playing Holi with his fellow legislators at the entrance of the Assembly. Soon all the legislators and ministers were seen greeting each other. Health minister Ashwini Kumar Choubey, road construction minister Nand Kishore Yadav and tourism minister Sunil Kumar Pintu, who were all clad in white, were smeared with gulal by Prasad and other legislators.

Their faces were smeared with gulal, while their hair had turned red. Prasad very soon stared singing traditional Bhojpuri songs, welcoming Holi. Bankipore MLA Nitin Navin also joined in the celebrations with his fellow legislators.

The legislators, before leaving the premises, gave tips on how to celebrate the festival to the Assembly employees and wished them.
