Medic strike off
Undergraduate students of Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Patna Medical College and Hospital, Nalanda Medical College and Hospital and other state-run medical colleges who had been skipping classes since Wednesday in support of nationwide-strike called by MBBS students, called off their strike on Thursday evening. Rajeev Ranjan, chairperson, Bihar and Jharkhand chapter of Indian Medical Students' Association, on Thursday said he had received communication from an MBBS students’ delegation in Delhi saying they had a fruitful negotiation with Union health minister Ghulam Nabi Azad. The minister gave in writing that MBBS curriculum would not be extended for two more years, a decision that was taken recently by Medical Council of India.Exhibition
