Relatives of Anjali Kumari, a Plus Two student found dead at a girls’ hostel on Sunday night, created a ruckus at Shastrinagar police station on Monday.

They were demanding that the police lodge a murder case.

Station house officer of Shastrinagar police station I.C. Vidyasagar said: “Prima facie, it appears to be a case of suicide. But no suicide note has been found.”

Anjali, a resident of Rohtas district, had been living in the hostel since July, 2012. Hostel in-charge R.P. Chaurasia said the student of JD Women’s College, was found hanging from a ceiling fan.
