Artistes from Patiala perform Bhangra - the traditional dance form of Punjab - on the concluding day of the two-day Patna Sahib Mahotsav at Rajkiya Uchcha Vidyalaya in Patna City on Monday. Around 6,000 people turned up on the concluding day of he fest. Punjabi singers Bobby Siddhu and Rekha Raj's performance was the main attraction of the event. On Sunday, Bollywood singer Master Salim, who has sung in popular films, including Heyy Babyy, Dostana and Love Aaj Kal, performed. Around 5,000 people were in attendance at the venue on Sunday. The tourism department organised the event to promote tourism in the state. The festival is organised near Mangle's Pond every year during Baisakhi in Patna City since its inception. Only last year, the tourism department organised the festival at SK Memorial Hall. Shekhar, who came from Patliputra to watch the function, said: "We have enjoyed the Bhangra performance by artistes from Punjab. I like the dance style and accompanying rhythmic music."
