Miami, Aug. 8 (Reuters): Noelle Bush, a niece of President George W. Bush and daughter of Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, was released from a drug rehabilitation centre after finishing her court-ordered treatment yesterday.
Noelle Bush, 26, was arrested in January 2002 in Tallahassee on a charge of using a fake prescription to try to buy the anti-anxiety drug Xanax. She entered Florida’s “drug court” programme, which allows the charges to be dropped if the defendant completes at least a year of rehabilitation treatment.
