This is the second Test to finish in just two days after India beat England in similar fashion during the Day-Night Test in Ahmedabad recently.

Zimbabwe captain Sean Williams brought up his third Test century and second as captain, and 19-year-old Afghan opener Ibrahim Zadran, top-scored for his team with 76 in the second innings.

No other batsmen on either side managed more than 44 runs. Eight Afghan batsmen were dismissed for single digit scores in their second innings, five of them for ducks.

Zimbabwe’s Victor Nyauchi, Blessing Muzarabani and Donald Tiripano shared 16 of the 20 Afghan wickets among them while Afghanistan left-arm spinner Amir Hamza took a career-best 6 for 75.

Brief scores: Zimbabwe 250 (Sean Williams 105, Amir Hamza 6/75) and 17/0. Afghanistan 131 (Afsar Zazai 37, Blessing Muzarabani 4-48) and 135 (Ibrahim Zadran 76, Donald Tiripano 3/23). Zimbabwe won by 10 wickets.
