‘Kallis, Sobers of our generation’

Calcutta: The cricket fraternity doffed their hat to Jacques Kallis, who retired from all formats of the game on Wednesday.

While Rahul Dravid called the all-rounder “the Garry Sobers of our generation” on BBC’s Test Match Special, Kevin Pietersen tweeted that the all-rounder is arguably the greatest cricketer ever.

Kallis had retired from Test cricket at the end of last year, after the series against India at home.
