Calcutta, Dec 27 :     An avalanche of goals and a trio of hattrick marked the start of the Calcutta Women?s Football League today. Itika wallopped Friends Organisation 14-0, riding Santa Dhara?s half-dozen including a hattrick. Trina Ghosh scored four and Noor Jehan Alam got a brace. Nabajanma wallopped Rampur MS 8-0 thanks to Jhuma Bose?s three in a row. Madhumita Das and Swapna Ghosh netted two each. Sujata Kar notched up the third hattrick as Income Tax dismissed Youth Footballers 7-0. Bidyut Sporting edged past Bally Gramanchal via a Debasmita Chatterjee goal. Arpan cleared for MB Goalkeeper Arpan Dey was today cleared to play for Mohun Bagan as his International Clearance Certificate (ITC) reached the IFA office from Bangladesh. The diminutive Arpan, who had been recruited by Muktijoddha Sansad this season, may now feature in Mohun Bagan?s XI for the National League tie against East Bengal Monday.
