Vigilance raid
Bhubaneswar: Vigilance sleuths on Saturday searched five places, including the houses of Sourendri Dhal, an Anganwadi worker in Kendrapara, following allegations of amassing disproportionate assets. It found assets worth Rs 2.33 crore. The sleuths have traced 13 plots in the name of Dhal and her family members with a market value of Rs 1.7 crore.

Bhubaneswar: Three artistes from Odisha will receive the Kendriya Sangeet Natak Akademi Samman for 2016. Odissi dance guru Ratikant Mohapatra, theatre director Satyabrata Rout and Pala singer Laxmidhar Rout are among those selected for the awards. The President will hand over the award to them at a special event in Delhi.
Boy killed
Bhubaneswar: A four-year-old boy was mauled to death, allegedly by a leopard, in Nuapada district. The animal dragged him into the forest while he was sleeping on Friday.
