Cuttack, Dec. 20: Two persons have been arrested in connection with the murder of a trader last week.

Vineeth Vohra, 28, was shot dead at Matamath here.

Vineeth and his father Umed, 52, were shot on December 12 night, when they were closing their shop. While the son died on the spot, Umed is undergoing treatment here.

The Cuttack-Bhubaneswar police today said the accused, Santosh Sahu, alias Somu, 25, of Tinikonia Bagicha and Avinash Sinha, alias Vicky, 24, of Sutahat had fired with a motive of committing robbery.

Deputy commissioner of police S. Praveen Kumar said Avinash, who works as a salesman at a Raymonds showroom, had planned the robbery.
