Bhubaneswar, June 30: After the success of Most Wanted, action flick director Susant Mani is working on a project called Chocolate. Just like the title, the film claims to be interesting and promises to attract youngsters with its storyline.
The romantic comedy, which is in its last phase of shooting, stars vivacious actress Archita Sahu and young heartthrob Babushan. The entire crew of Chocolate seemed to be enjoying some fun moments on Wednesday during the shooting of a few scenes and songs on sets located at a plush bungalow in Patia.
Speaking about the film the lead pair appeared all excited about its novel script.
“For the first time I’m playing a Christian girl. I wear various pretty frocks in the film. I am thrilled to sport this look. The best outfit is the elegant wedding gown as I had always wished to wear one,” said Archita.
“My character is of a sweet and simple girl who is keen to explore the good side of every person. This is how she brings about a change in the boy she loves, who quits his mischievous ways and turns gentle,” she added.
On the sets, Babushan was seen briefing his father, veteran actor Uttam Mohanty, about the different scenes that were challenging for him in the film. Both even went through the rough cut of most portions of the film.
“I’m enjoying the film since it’s different from what I have done so far. Working with Susant Mani has been a wonderful experience. I’m learning something every moment,” said the young actor.
The film, produced by Kusha Ranjan Patnaik (after Kandehi Akhire Luha launched more than a decade ago) under the banner of Falcon Movies, has been already shot at Aali in Kendrapada, Anandpur, Khallikote and Cuttack.
“We have been shooting for a couple of months now and only a week’s schedule is remaining. We are looking at an August release,” said director Mani.
Veteran actors such as Aparajita Mohanty, Pradyumna Lenka and youngster Samaresh will also be seen in the film. Newcomer Ankita makes her debut. Raju Zaveira is the cinematographer while Birenjyoti Mohanty is the editor of the film.
