The heritage walk witnessed a galaxy of writers, litterateurs and journalists as they had come to the city to attend the ongoing Kalinga Literature Festival.
Among the visitors was Marathi author Balchandra Vanaji Nemade. “Such initiatives will help to rediscover artistic excellence,” he said. More than 40 people took part in the heritage walks on Sunday.
Soumi Das, a Delhi-based teacher, who took part in the event, said: “It provided an insight into the history of the city, which was earlier known as Ekamra Khetra.”
