| : Actress Riya Sen shakes a leg with Odia actor Deepak Panda for the film My Love Story |
Last Wednesday actress Riya Sen was in Cuttack to mark her debut in the Odia film industry. The sultry actress seemed quite upbeat about the item song she shot for and said she was looking forward to work in Odia movies that have a large audience base.

“I had agreed to do an item number in the Odia film as the song was peppy and would be popular among the youth,” said Riya.

Wearing a scorching little dress and later in another skimpy outfit in glittering purple, Riya danced atop and around cycle rickshaws on the song crooned by Vinod Rathod.
Riya seemed to be enjoying her first shoot in the state.
“I was in Odisha last year for a stage performance at an event. The audience was wonderful and the people from the film fraternity here were also very hospitable. The concept of this song was also unusual and interesting. I enjoyed it a lot,” she said.
My Love Story is a romantic comedy produced by Mumbai based Production house U & URS Films.
Debutant Deepak Panda is the writer, director and lead actor of this movie. Russian model Katrine Kovi will be seen opposite him. “I am playing a rickshaw puller in the song, as I wanted to pay tribute to the rickshaw pullers who are an inseparable part of Cuttack city,” said Panda.
