Bhubaneswar, July 5: The second selection list for Plus Two admissions was announced today providing students with another opportunity to enrol into colleges of their choice.
The department of higher education has also published the cut-off list for the second selection. Admissions for the second selection list will be held on July 8 and July 9.
Around 90,517 seats are lying vacant in 1,392 junior colleges of the state. Around 65 seats are lying vacant in BJB, 82 in Ramadevi, 17 seats in Basic Science.
While 2,37,254 students have taken admission in the first selection, 36,305 students have been sent intimations for second selection, an official said.
The cut-offs in sought-after colleges such as BJB and Ravenshaw junior colleges dropped by a few percentage points.
